Bernadskaya Irina

Irina Bernadskaya was born on June 16, 1981 in Gomel . She graduated from the Gomel Art College. Her teacher at the College was Marina Osipova. The first exhibition in which the young artist took part was held in 1998. The slogan of that exhibition were the beautiful words "Under the Angel Wings". In 1999 she occupied the 2nd place at the Republican Plain-Air in the town of Disna, Vitebsk region. Later in Minsk was held an exhibition basing on the results of the plain-air, where Irina presented some of her works. In 1999 - 2000 she took part in the exhibitions of the Artistic Group "Tsvety Papandos" and in the exhibitions of the young talents held in the Gomel region. In 2000 Irina got the Grand Prix at the Contest of the arts college and school students. The same year she entered the Byelorussian Academy of Arts, Drawing Faculty, where she studies at the present moment. In 2001 Irina got the Grand Prix at the contest " Dedicated to Our Native Belarus" which was held in Minsk at the Palace of Arts under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture. The works of Irina Bernadskaya are kept in private collections of Belarus, at the Presidents Fund ("The Morning of the Great Occasion"), in the private collections of the USA, etc.
