Yurkov Igor

Yurkov Igor was born on March 30, 1970 in Gomel region. In 1984 he finished Mozyr Art School and in 1989 he graduated from Bobruisk Art College, specialty: manufacturer of ceramic art wares. He acquired practical skills in national arts at the classes of the People's Artist of Belarus Pushkar. From 1989 to 1990 he worked as the artist decorator at the factory of artistic articles. Then he taught ceramics at the secondary school at the special classes of architecture and arts. From 1996 he works at Mozyr Oil Refining Plant. He graduated from Mozyr Pedagogical Institute and Minsk International Management Institute. Working in different areas, he always dedicated himself to people's crafts and looked for new methods and forms for realizing his artistic ideas. Igor creates decorative panels and compositions based on ceramics, decorative vases and other ceramic articles.
