Lukyanenka Petr

Lukyanenka Petr was born in 1950 in Gomel. Member of the Byelorussian Soviet of Artists of from 1988. In 1980 he graduated from the Byelorussian State Pedagogical Arts and Theatre Institute (Byelorussian Academy of Fine Arts nowdays), faculty of the fine arts theory and history. He works in different genres of easel painting, such as portrait, landscape and still-life. The artist participates regularly in municipal, regional and republican exhibitions. From 1983 up to date the works of the artist have been displayed regularly in the republican exhibitions in Minsk. Petr Lukyanenka's personal exhibitions were held in Gomel (1985, 1988, 1994, 1996, 1998, 2000, and 2002). The artist also participated in the group exhibitions in Poland (1987, 1990), Czechoslovakia (1987), Moscow (1998). His personal exhibition was also held in Germany in 1995. Many works of the artist were bought by the state organizations and private companies. They are also kept in private collections in Belarus, Finland, Poland, Yugoslavia, France, Italy, Scotland, Israel, Canada, and Germany.
